The military man, whose name was Maxim, was a commander and was going home to Ivano-Frankivsk. In a conversation with the women, Maksym said that his mother had died, and he himself was serving near Kramatorsk, from where he was released for three days. After that, the soldier fell asleep and slept for more than 12 hours. “Perhaps this is his longest and sweetest dream in a year? And the woman and I are flashing signs, talking in whispers, including warning the conductor to keep an eye on the silence in the carriage,” Natalya recalls. In the morning, the neighbor, who was going to Morshin, prepared breakfast for the soldier, wiped his shoes and ordered coffee. It turned out that the woman has a 28-year-old son who is fighting near Maryinka. When she left at her station, she placed a small icon under the pillow of the young man, who was still sleeping. “Tears are standing in my throat because I witnessed how this young man was enveloped in a dream by a real mother’s care. Suddenly we are all his mothers,” Nataliya wrote. In a comment to “UP. Life”, the woman said that the soldier took away the icon left by the woman.
