Conscripts in Ukraine are men from 18 to 60 yearswith some exceptions.
At the same time, in some military commissariats, according to internal rules, people of old age are not accepted for service up to 21 years old.
In such a case, if you are determined to serve, it will be easier to apply directly to different brigades to receive a letter of reference, explained the head of the legal service of the 32 OMBr Denis Tomilin.
As for older age, everything depends on physical fitness and health.
For example, in job descriptions, the “ideal” age for an attack aircraft is often defined in the range of 18-30 years, but this does not mean that older candidates with appropriate training will be rejected.

Women can join the army at their own will – so far, even conscripted women have not been forcibly mobilized.
In some cases, women may even be reluctantly drafted if they are are not conscripted (by doctors or pharmacists).
Denys Tomilin believes that in this case you can contact the brigades directly or apply for military vacancies through the relevant platforms.
