Kelsey Getcher, 32, from Alabama, who had two wombs and got pregnant in each, gave birth to unique twin girls.
The babies were born on different days – Roxy Layla was born on December 19, and Rebel Laken was born on the 20th.
In total, the birth lasted 20 hours and took place at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) hospital, according to Reuters.
Kelsey was carrying twins, which has a one in a million chance. In social networks, the woman said that the babies are healthy, and showed a photo with her husband Caleb and doctors.

Kelsey Getcher was born with a rare condition: she has two uteruses and two cervixes.
The woman is pregnant for the fourth time. During each of her three previous pregnancies, she carried one child in the same womb, but Roxy and Rebel are unique babies born in two different wombs.

Kelsey and her husband plan to celebrate two separate birthdays with their daughters.
“Not even in our wildest dreams could we have imagined a pregnancy like this and a birth like this, but we wanted to bring our two healthy girls into this world safely, and UAB helped us achieve that.
I think they should have two separate birthdays. They both had their ‘homes’ and now both have their own unique birth stories.” – the girls’ mother told the doctors.
