Two emission nebulae consisting of ionized gas can be observed in the image. It is hot enough to emit light.

Nearby is a reflection nebula – a bright gas-dust cloud. There is a lot of dust in it, which can reflect the nearby starlight.
The image also shows a star in the constellation Sagittarius, which is “very close to the true galactic center of the Milky Way.”
