An official of the National Academy of Internal Affairs was exposed for taking a bribe for a “successful session”

Law enforcement officers exposed the head of a department of one of the institutes of the National Academy of Internal Affairs for a bribe, for which she promised a successful session.
The lieutenant colonel of the police was supposed to receive 37,000 hryvnias from the students, the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.
“Under the procedural leadership of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a police lieutenant colonel – the head of a department of one of the institutes of the National Academy of Internal Affairs was exposed and informed of the suspicion of receiving an illegal benefit (Part 3, Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)”the message says.
According to the investigation, the woman demanded from the students of the study group to give her a “charitable contribution”.
For this, she promised a loyal attitude towards future lawyers and a positive evaluation of their results.

Also, for USD 400, the official was supposed to assist two students in successfully completing the session.
“In the course of the investigation, it was documented that she received more than UAH 37,000 in bribes. Law enforcement officers detained her in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine while receiving the second part of the agreed amount.”– say the law enforcement officers.
The woman was informed about the suspicion. The sanction of part 3 of Article 368 provides imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years.
Also, if the court proves the official’s guilt, she may be deprived of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to 3 years with confiscation of property.

It will be recalled that earlier due to a bribe for a session, law enforcement officers detained the dean and deputy dean of various faculties at one of the Lviv universities.
