Cherkasy police exposed the administrator of the channel with porn content: he turned out to be a 14-year-old from Kyiv

The Cherkasy cyber police exposed a schoolboy who was the administrator of a Telegram channel with prohibited content, in particular, intimate photos of other teenagers.

The “admin” turned out to be a 14-year-old from Kyiv, reported police of Cherkasy region.

On the channel, he distributed personal data of teenagers, in particular materials of a pornographic nature. He demanded money from minors for the removal of such publications.

“The parents of one of the injured teenagers contacted the police. Cyber ​​police established achannel administrator. He turned out to be an underage boy from Kyiv.

There are both boys and girls among the victims. The police have not disclosed their number yet. The police blocked the Telegram channel and seized the boy’s mobile phone.

Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Art. 301-1 of the Criminal Code (acquisition, sale, distribution of child pornography). Content review is currently underway. Specialists have to make sure whether the materials are pornographic.

The 14-year-old from Kyiv has not yet been charged.
