Educational institutions of the Odesa region are switching to a remote format for two days. The reason for this decision was the deterioration of weather conditions.

This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper.

In order to “preserve children’s health and properly organize the educational process,” on January 9 and 10, classes in all educational institutions of the region will be held remotely.

“Kindergartens and schools will work in the mode of groups on duty. However, dear parents, if you have such an opportunity, leave your children at home.” – urged Kiper.

These recommendations are valid for the period of bad weather. OVA will inform about the resumption of face-to-face classes in addition.

We will remind you that the weather conditions have become more difficult in Ukraine, which is why the Headquarters for the elimination of the consequences of bad weather is working around the clock.

Due to the accumulation of wet snow and ice, power is currently cut off in almost 400 settlements in Ukraine.
