Women have won two seats on Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic space exploration company’s second commercial space flight. The cost of one place is 683 thousand dollars. The goal of the competition was to “send more diverse people into space.” It is noted that when Keisha found out about the win, without hesitation, she chose her daughter Anastasia as a companion. Currently, the 18-year-old student is studying to become an astrobiologist in Scotland. The girl will become the second youngest cosmonaut to fly into space. “I want to be an astrobiologist, even though sometimes it seems impossible. I think there are so many people who want to see space. I am proud to be a part of this mission,” Anastasia said. Women will be the first Caribbean people to go into space. It is known that the former Olympic canoeist and John Goodwin – the second person in the world who will fly into space with Parkinson’s disease – will be able to see space together with women. The space mission will begin on August 10 in New Mexico.
