In Transcarpathia, the police detained a 29-year-old man who exposed his genitals in front of a 9-year-old girl in the middle of the street. This is reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Zakarpattia Oblast. According to the message, the crime took place on September 4 in the Berehiv district of the Zakarpattia region. As Hanna Dan, the spokeswoman of the National Security Service in Zakarpattia Oblast, reported in a comment for “UP. Life”, the man was serving a sentence under Part 3 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – theft with penetration. Currently, the suspect has been placed in a pre-trial detention center. “Now he is detained in accordance with Article 208 (Criminal Code of Ukraine – ed.) for 48 hours. Our investigators informed him of the suspicion and will apply to the court with a request to choose a preventive measure. There we will see what decision the court will make. I think this will be tomorrow,” the spokeswoman commented.
