In Kyiv, during the morning Russian shelling on December 29, a man got into a car that caught fire and drove it away from cars parked nearby.

The incident happened in the Sviatoshyn district of the capital, Radio Svoboda reports.

As the journalists found out, the driver was a local resident Vasyl Andriyovych. The man went out into the yard when he saw the fire from the window.

“I thought that the gas car had exploded, but when I went outside, I saw that someone else’s car had caught fire from mine. It started to burn a little behind.

I opened (the burning car – ed.), connected the battery (I turn it off). Then he sat down in the salon, and so that it would not be so dark, he opened the door. He stuck his head out and pushed the car to the car wash”– said the man.

Vasyl Andriyovych has skin burns, particularly on his face, but he assured the doctors that he feels fine and refused to be hospitalized.

We will remind you that during the night and morning of December 29, Russia launched 158 missiles and drones over Ukraine. 114 of them were destroyed by the Ukrainian military.

Hits were recorded in Kyiv and a number of regions. As a result of the attack, at least 22 people died and more than 100 were injured
