In the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the campaign “Bells of Memory and Hope” is starting, as part of which bells will be rung every day in support of prisoners of war.
This was reported in the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
It was noted there that from now on in the walls of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, Ukrainian servicemen who were captured by the Russian army will be remembered every day.
Also, every morning after the nationwide minute of silence, the biggest bell of the Lavra will ring on the Great Lavra Bell Tower.

“It will strike 9 times, symbolizing 9 years of war, and will remind Ukrainians and the people of the whole world about the soldiers who are in captivity, civilians who are illegally held in Moscow torture centers, missing persons, children and adults deported to the Russian Federation.– reported in the headquarters with reference to the Lavra.
It is said that the bell will ring until the last prisoner of war returns home.
“Everyone who returns from Russian captivity or deportation will be able to join the daily campaign in person”– it is noted in the message.
