The vice-chancellor of one of the capital’s higher educational institutions was exposed for bribery – the educator demanded money from students for the fact that they would not be expelled.
A preventive measure was chosen for him in the form of detention with an alternative to bail, the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office reports.
As the law enforcement officers established, the vice-rector demanded to hand over 40,000 hryvnias to him for the fact that four students would not be expelled from the higher educational institution.
After the man received the funds, he was “red handedly” exposed in the premises of the university.

The vice-rector was detained and reported on suspicion of receiving an illegal benefit (Part 4 of Article 368-3 of the Criminal Procedure Code).
Currently, the educator is in custody with an alternative bail in the amount of 150 thousand hryvnias.
