In Lutsk, the court fined a local resident who published her erotic photos from a woman’s account on a social network. The fine is 51,000 hryvnias, according to the verdict of the Lutsk City District Court. As the law enforcement officers established, the man illegally gained access to the woman’s Google storage. He also picked up the password and was able to access her Facebook account. The case file does not indicate whether he knew the victim. According to the fact of unauthorized interference in the work of electronic systems (Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code), law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings. During the search of his apartment on June 2, the police also found narcotic substances, namely amphetamine, so another case was opened against him for possession of narcotics without the purpose of sale (Part 1 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code). During the court session, the man admitted his guilt. The court imposed a fine of UAH 51,000 on him, and ordered the confiscation of the phone from which he published the photo.
