In the Lviv region, a music teacher was put on trial for posting fake grades in the school magazine.
The incident took place at the school of the Chervonograd community, according to the verdict of the Sokal District Court.
According to the investigation, the woman entered false information in the 5th grade journal about the attendance and scores of students who did not study in her class and school at all. The same situation happened again with the 7th grade magazine.
“The accused fully admitted her guilt. In particular, she reported that during the 2018-2019 academic year and 2019-2020 academic year, she entered false information in the journals of the 5th and 7th grades regarding the attendance and performance of students who during these academic years in her class and school did not studied”the verdict says.

The woman told the court that she repented, but asked not to punish her severely. The teacher was tried for forging documents (Part 2 of Article 358 and Part 3 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
She was sentenced to a year and a month of restriction of freedom, but was released from punishment with a one-year probationary period.
The verdict has not yet entered into legal force, and the teacher can file an appeal.
