In the Lviv region, the father of a schoolboy who offensively edited a photo of a teacher was fined

In the Lviv region, the court fined a man because his son offensively edited a photo of his class teacher.
This is stated in the decision of the Zhovkiv district court of the Lviv region.
The man was accused of failing to fulfill parental duties and fined 1,700 hryvnias.
The court ruling states that a 13-year-old boy edited the teacher’s photo in June of this year, thereby “insulting her honor and dignity.”

For such actions, the son’s father was punished under part 1 of Article 184 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses – “evasion of parents or persons who replace them from the fulfillment of the obligations provided for by law to ensure the necessary living conditions, education and upbringing of minor children.”
During the hearing of the case in court, the man said that he had spent time educating his son immediately after the crime. He also promised to pay more attention to his son’s education in the future.
