In Kyiv, a dog of the Yorkshire terrier breed suffered multiple fractures due to abuse by its owner.

As the investigation established, the man, while walking a dog of the Yorkshire terrier breed on the territory of the “Babyn Yar” nature reserve, several times lifted the animal up by the collar, kicked it and dragged it forcefully on the asphalt.

Witnesses reported the incident to law enforcement officers. The man’s actions were also recorded by video surveillance cameras on the territory of the reserve.

According to the information of the agency, a 51-year-old resident of Kyiv was informed of the suspicion of cruelty to an animal, which resulted in bodily harm (Part 3 of Article 299 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
