“Knowledge and culture are the pillars on which the front rests”: Zaluzhnyi’s address to September 1

On the occasion of the September 1 holiday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhnyi, drew attention to the importance of schools for the future development of the country. He wrote about it on his Facebook. In the new academic year, as well as in the previous one, teachers and students are forced to adapt to the realities of a full-scale war, Zaluzhnyi noted. “The main thing is that our children will learn. And our educators, teachers and professors will teach. Because knowledge and culture are what distinguish us from the enemy. These are the pillars on which today’s front rests and the future of our country will be built.” – wrote the Commander-in-Chief. He published a video with soldiers addressing schoolchildren. “We are fighting for the existence of our nation. But it is up to you, young friend, to build a state, turn existence into prosperity, mistakes into correct conclusions,” the video reads. We will remind you that in Ukraine they want to change the rules for the formation of teachers’ salaries.
