In Ukraine, not only people suffer from war, but also animals. It is especially difficult for them near the front line.

The National Police of Ukraine showed dogs living on the ruins of Avdiyivka.

The Russian offensive on Avdiivka, Donetsk region, intensified in October. The shelling of the city does not stop.

There are many destroyed houses in Avdiivka. The photo shows one of them. This is a five-story building that was hit by an enemy projectile. On its ruins stands a dog that managed to survive the attack.

He used to live in the basement of this house with people. However, they drove off, and the four-legged dog was left alone, the police say.

People come to feed him – it is their dog that looks like it.

The moment of farewell was recorded in the second photo. The dog, standing under the entrance of the house, escorts its residents to the evacuation, remaining in the city, under constant fire.

The third four-legged one was more lucky – together with the owner, he goes to a safer place.

As the police said, the dog saved the man’s life. A moment before the arrival, he “sensed danger, you led the owner to the basement.”
