The starry Ukrainian sky during the fall of the Perseid star was dotted with bright lines from the release of ammunition. It was similar to footage from the movie “Star Wars”, but this is the Ukrainian struggle against the occupying enemy.
A series of pictures from the assault were shown in the 53rd separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh.

“The black velvet of the night sky, the scatter of August stars, new ones, previously unknown to astronomers, are flaring up. The Perseid shooting star is mixed with traces of tracers.
Shot casings are showered with a metallic clatter. The darkness is cut by the barely audible thin whistle of RPG grenades, illuminating everyone present with a ghostly yellow-green glow and disappearing into the night fog, as suddenly as it appeared.”.

The military notes that most of the enemy’s attacks are launched under the cover of night.
“Being ready to fight back and deliver merciless blows under any conditions, be it daylight or in conditions of limited visibility, becomes a priority” – say the soldiers.

It will be recalled that the peak of the stream of the Perseid shooting star fell on August 12-13. The extraordinary phenomenon was observed in all corners of the world.
