In the capital’s city application “Kyiv Digital”, a survey for citizens has been launched regarding the installation of busts of Ukrainian figures at the “Universitet” metro station. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Kyiv City State Administration. “In 2022, the busts of Pushkin, Gorky, Lomonosov and Mendeleev were closed with wooden boxes. It’s time to dismantle them and choose outstanding Ukrainians,” the “Kyiv Digital” application says. In place of the busts of Russian cultural figures at the metro station, new busts are planned to be installed, chosen based on the results of voting and the decision of an expert working group.
