The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine stated that it did not issue a Certificate of recognition of a foreign educational document to blogger Spartak Subbota in Ukraine. The Ministry of Education and Culture appealed to the police regarding the forgery of documents. Information about Spartak Subbota’s master’s degree, a copy of which is attached to the attestation case, is not available in the Register of Education Documents at the EDEBO, the department reported. “Previously, the MES received a request for public information regarding the authenticity of the specified documents. During the inspection, it was found that in the materials of the attestation case regarding the awarding of a scientific degree to S.O. Subbota, there are duly certified copies of the documents,” the message says. The Ministry sent requests to the State Enterprise “Information and Image Center” and State Enterprise “Inforesurs” to confirm the fact of the existence of the specified educational documents in the registers. The MES say that they did not issue this certificate. “We have already passed this information to the National Police of Ukraine with a request to check the possible fact of forgery and deliberate use of forged documents of Sabota Spartak Oleksandrovych,” the MES say. Among them was a Certificate, allegedly issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture, confirming his master’s degree from the University of Nice. “I am a real scientist, not for the sake of a tick.
