In one of the medical universities of Kyiv, a man offered students to “facilitate” a score in an independent exam. He valued his services at 1.5 thousand dollars.
The man was detained, according to the National Police of Kyiv.
In a comment for “UP.Zhyttia”, the spokeswoman of the National Police of Kyiv, Anna Zubreva, noted that they were approached by two injured students of Meduniver. They did not pass the Unified State Qualification Exam and the “KROK” test component.
On Telegram, these two students and a number of others who failed the test received a message from a scammer.

He turned out to be a 31-year-old assistant of the department of which educational institution. The man introduced himself as a person related to the testing center and for 1.5 thousand dollars he can help “pass the exam”.
“In reality, he could not help, he just took money. The suspect had access to the department and contacts of students who failed the exam. In this way, he approached them and offered his “services”– says Anna Zubreva.
Ihor Padyuk, the head of the Shevchenkiv police department, said that operatives searched for and detained the swindler.
“During the search of the car, two notepads with notes, bank cards and a laptop were discovered and seized. We also seized EUR 1,700 in cash from the apartment where the intruder lived“, he added.
So the found funds are already “payment” for services, the police reported. They also added that funds were withdrawn both in dollars and in euros.
The investigators informed the detainee about the suspicion.
The sanction of the article provides for a fine, correctional work or restriction of freedom.
