The border guard “Krasivy” lay in ambush for 11 hours to eliminate the Russian officer.
The story of the sniper was told in the State Border Service of Ukraine.
The fighter was mobilized almost from the first days after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russians.
The defender got the nickname “Handsome” on his first day in the State Border Service, and he has been with him for over 20 months.

The border guard gained his skill and combat experience at combat positions near Maryinka, Pisky, and Lyman.
During this time, he has already thoroughly studied the behavior of the enemy at various locations. But already from the first shot he managed to sow panic and fear among the invaders.
“The panicky mood of the enemy was felt in the radio interception, where, mixed with profanity, it sounded: “everyone take cover, the sniper is working“, the DPSU notes.
A border guard worked on enemy machine gunners, signalmen, and for the longest time he had to track down a Russian officer.
At that time, the occupiers had a rotation and “Krasiv” had to determine which of them was the commander.
“After 11 hours of observation, I managed to hit the target with the first shot“, says the fighter.
The border guard has two rifles in his arsenal: the first is the domestic UAR-10, which is more intended for destroying the enemy’s manpower. The other is American-made Desert Tech HTI, more intended for work on armored and lightly armored enemy vehicles. The latter can easily penetrate an armored personnel carrier, an infantry fighting vehicle, and ordinary pickup trucks – through and through, as the sniper emphasizes.
“And what is the point of shooting at people from it!? She will tear off his arm or leg!” – says the fighter emotionally about the firepower of the rifle.
The sniper also said that he often has to work in extreme conditions. True, “Krasivy” significantly adapted to the vagaries of nature during the war. Heat, rain, snow, frost do not hinder him, he can lie on the ground for hours, observing and waiting for the target.

For the sake of a single “decisive” shot, he can stay at the firing position in a stationary state for quite a long time.
“During the entire time of being on the front line, my body has already adapted and hardened, even at fairly low temperatures I do not get cold“, says the border guard.
The sniper considers his work important, assures: he will aim at the occupiers as long as they remain on Ukrainian soil.
