The military drama “Vision of a Butterfly” directed by Maksym Nakonechny won the main award at the Febiofest SK international film festival in Bratislava. Her family, friends, siblings and lover are waiting for her. However, establishing a new life and overcoming new challenges is not so easy. Actors Margarita Burkovska, Lyubomyr Valivots, as well as many non-professionals played in the film: writer Natalka Vorozhbyt, volunteer Myroslav Gai and others. The world premiere of “Butterfly Vision” took place at the Cannes Film Festival in the spring of 2022. At the 13th Odesa Film Festival, which took place last year as part of the Warsaw Film Festival, the film won the Best Ukrainian Feature Film award. The tape will be released in Ukraine on April 6. Febiofest Bratislava International Film Festival was founded in 1993. The organizer of the festival is the Association of Slovak Film Clubs, the main co-organizer is the Slovak Film Institute. During the seven days of the festival, there are events combining the industry and a film program dedicated to contemporary and archival cinema with an emphasis on European production.
