The government has adopted a resolution that allows pharmacies to carry out preventive vaccination. The innovation will become operational in three months.
About this it is said in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of February 29.
According to the innovations, vaccinations will be able to be carried out by pharmacy establishments that have opened a medical office and have a license to carry out economic activities for medical practice and for the retail trade of medicinal products.
In order to vaccinate, pharmacists must undergo special training annually:
- from vaccination;
- organization of vaccination procedure technique;
- acquiring the skills of providing pre-hospital care in emergency situations.
The resolution will enter into force three months after its publication.
Currently, the Ministry of Health does not disclose the details of the innovation. In a comment for “UP. Life”, the press service of the Ministry of Health noted that “the mechanism is being finalized.”
We will remind, the first mobile pharmacy started her work in the Kharkiv region. The project covers 80 settlements of the region and will operate exclusively in rural areas where there are no stationary pharmacies.
As reported by the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko, “Ukrposhta” received a license from the State Medical Service for wholesale trade and sale of medicines as a postal operator.
