1-year-old Margarita Prokopenko, who was taken to Russia by the Russians during the occupation of Kherson, has a 6-year-old sister and a 3-year-old brother.

The boy’s whereabouts are currently unknown, reports Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.

According to him, Margarita was adopted by the 70-year-old politician, the leader of the “Just Russia” party Serhiy Mironov and his 55-year-old wife Inna Varlamova.

The child’s name and citizenship have been changed – now she is Maryna Mironova.

It is noted that the guardian of Margarita’s 6-year-old sister, with whom she currently lives, appealed to the ombudsman.

The woman asked for help in establishing Margarita’s whereabouts and also to arrange guardianship over her.
