The Flight Academy of the National Aviation University and the Kharkiv Air Force University named after Ivan Kozhedub plan to join forces to train aviation personnel.
This is reported in the National Aviation University. At the same time, the Flight Academy of NAU was told “UP Life“that they had not heard of such plans.
“As part of the implementation of the aviation development strategy of Ukraine, the head of the Kharkiv National University of the Air Force named after Ivan Kozhedub Andriy Berezhny addressed the Director of the Aviation Academy of the National Aviation University Volodymyr Maksimov”the message says.
According to the head of Kharkiv University, as a result of the cooperation, they want to create a reserve of aviation personnel.

On the NAU website, it is noted that the NAU administration accepted the proposal. Currently, the institution has initiated a process of negotiations and meetings to discuss all aspects of further cooperation.
However, in the comment “UP “Life”, the head of the public relations center of the Aviation Academy of NAU, Olena Kovalyova, said that she did not know about the negotiations with Kharkiv University.
“I don’t know why you are connecting the plans of the Cabinet of Ministers for the reorganization of the NAU and this event. Currently, we do not have any official documents about anything”– added Kovalyova.
Earlier, a source in the MES informed “UP. Life” that in the near future the Government may consider an order on the reorganization of the National Aviation University (NAU) in Kyiv.
It is tentatively planned to divide NAU into two structures: State University “Kyiv Aviation Institute” (the historical name of NAU) and a separate institution called the Ukrainian State Aviation Academy (Kropyvnytskyi).
At the same time, NAU was asked not to do this and presented its requests.
