The International Committee of the Red Cross provides the occupiers in the temporarily occupied Mangush settlement of the Mariupol district with humanitarian aid, in particular with equipment. This was stated by Petro Andryushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol. According to him, the equipment was transferred to the so-called “department for children’s affairs”, which facilitates the deportation and abduction of Ukrainian children. Also, the occupying “Department of Social Protection of the Population” (UTSZN), which is involved in the forced passporting of Ukrainian citizens, and the territorial center of social services received financial assistance from the ICRC. Or start providing police torture chambers in Mariupol and the region?” Andryushchenko adds. Ukrainians even called to boycott his activities and not to send donations to the organization. In particular, due to the ICRC’s helplessness in the organization of humanitarian corridors. Also, the organization officially calls the war in Ukraine a conflict. Read also: How does the Red Cross (not) help Ukrainians during the war? We understand how the organization works
