The VR allowed to pass military medical commissions in civilian medical facilities

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the second reading and in general changes to the law on the work of military medical commissions. This was reported by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk. The approved draft law will help to carry out military medical examinations, in particular, on the basis of civilian medical institutions of state and communal ownership. The draft law also envisages the implementation of military medical examination by commissions established at the territorial centers of recruitment and social support, as well as at health care facilities of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, etc. The bill was supported by 287 people’s deputies. 287 People’s Deputies supported the draft law Previously, the Cabinet of Ministers supported the creation of freelance military medical commissions on the basis of civilian medical institutions. The government has adopted a resolution on the implementation of a new package within the Medical Guarantee Program, the Ministry of Health reports. All services included in the package of the Medical Guarantee Program will be free of charge for those who pass the commissions. The package provides for conducting medical examinations by multidisciplinary teams of VLK doctors formed at territorial centers of recruitment and social support. Previously, military personnel could undergo medical examination only in military medical institutions according to the territorial principle (also according to the place of treatment, training, stay on a business trip, vacation).
