Two teenagers who bought alcohol for children will be tried in Chernihiv Oblast

In the Chernihiv region, law enforcement officers detained two teenagers who were guilty of intoxicating three children. This is reported by the police of the Chernihiv region. In the evening of July 8, law enforcement officers found a 13-year-old boy and two girls, aged 12 and 13, in a state of severe alcohol intoxication in the Koryukiv district of the region. Three children were hospitalized in the intensive care unit of a local hospital. Photo: motortion/Depositphotos During the investigation, the police established that two local residents, aged 18 and 19, bought and gave the children a half-liter bottle of vodka and several plastic bottles of beer. A protocol was drawn up for each of those guilty of intoxicating children under Article 180 of the Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses (bringing a minor to a state of intoxication). They face a fine. Juvenile law enforcement officers prosecuted the parents of the boy, the youngest of the girls, and the guardian of another girl. Administrative protocols have been drawn up for them in accordance with Part 1 of Article 184 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (non-fulfilment by parents or persons replacing them of their responsibilities regarding the upbringing of children). Photo: Patrol Police of Kyiv On the night of July 10, a security guard of one of the shopping centers contacted the police and reported that there was a drunken boy on the territory of the closed establishment. The law enforcement officers found out that the drunk was a 15-year-old boy who, due to his condition, could not explain how he ended up there. The patrolmen identified the child’s relatives and called doctors, who hospitalized him with a preliminary diagnosis of “alcohol intoxication.” We will remind, in the Ternopil region, a 17-year-old boy who raped a 13-year-old girl was sentenced to 8 years.
