“Ukrzaliznytsia” launched women’s compartments on eight new flights: tickets are already available

From November 15, eight passenger trains will run with women’s compartments.
“Ukrzaliznytsia” reported that the trains “Kyiv – Uzhhorod”, “Dnipro – Truskavets”, “Kyiv – Kryvyi Rih”, “Kharkiv – Yasinya”, “Kharkiv – Uzhgorod”, “Kyiv – Uzhhorod”, “Zaporizhia – Uzhhorod” and “Odesa – Rakhiv”.
However, due to track repairs in Transcarpathia, the Odesa-Rakhiv train will depart on its first flight with women’s compartments from Odesa on November 16, and from Rakhiv on the 17th.
“It is the passengers of female compartments who demonstrate the highest level of satisfaction with Ukrzaliznytsia’s service: NPS 83%. The average population of female compartments is also the highest – more than 80% today.” – noted in “UZ”.

As a reminder, women’s compartments will operate in passenger trains of “Ukrhaliznytsia” from the summer of 2023. Until now, tickets for such compartments could be purchased in four directions – “Kyiv – Uzhhorod”, “Dnipro – Truskavets”, “Kyiv – Kryvyi Rih” and “Kharkiv – Yasinya”.
“Ukrzaliznytsia” launched women’s compartments on a pilot basis after a petition received support on the government’s website calling for at least one carriage on trains that run longer than six hours exclusively for women.
