Therefore, it is necessary to look for natural methods of improving productivity. “A doctor would say that the Earth is really very sick right now in many areas. And it affects the people who live here. We have to address not only the symptoms, but also the causes,” added Joetta, co-chair of the Earth Commission and professor of the environment at the University of Amsterdam Gupta. Scientists plan to create the so-called Earth Commission. Leading scientists from all over the world will work there. Their task is to create a scientific basis for the goals and methods of sustainable development. They must go beyond the current focus on climate and consider other indicators.
